Contra Costa Interfaith Housing (CCIH) provides permanent, affordable housing and vital support services to homeless and at-risk families and individuals in Contra Costa County. CCIH has grown from serving 72 people (in 2004) to more than 1,000 Contra Costa residents today. In just the last year, CCIH has added 52 units of affordable permanent housing to chronically homeless families and individuals. Housing is just the start. Programs such as on-site mental health support for trauma-impacted children, academic-based afterschool programming, eviction prevention, case management services, evidence-based parenting classes, rental readiness programs, and summer youth enrichment support residents to achieve their greatest degree of independence possible.
Want to help? Represent San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church at CCIH’s annual auction gala, Ruby Slippers-There’s No Place Like Home! Tickets are on sale now for this magical night of silent and live auctions, raffles, dinner, and dancing on February 4, 2017 at Diablo Country Club. All proceeds benefit local formerly homeless and extremely low-income families and individuals in our community. Get your discounted early bird tickets before December 16. Invite your small group, friends, and neighbors to come along and support this unforgettable evening! Can’t make it to the event, but still want to help end homelessness? Support CCIH here.
