San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church offers a wide variety of faith formation, learning and social opportunities for adults, young adults, youth and children.
Early Christians understood themselves to be a people of the way. And for Christian communities ever since, there has been the underlying understanding that we are traveling together on a journey in which we never quite arrive, but find ourselves on the way. As the people of the Christian community known as the San Ramon Valley Methodist Church, we are invited to accept the challenge of being the church; of attending to our own spiritual growth, addressing the external needs of the world that exists beyond our property boundaries, and to be advocates of love, justice and service to others. You are invited to browse our menu of classes, social events and services opportunities and find ways to connect that are meaningful and enriching to you. Learn more…
Children & Family Ministries
Childhood is a time of wonder, exploration and discovery. Our Children & Families group ministry serves families with children – from infants to 5th grade. Through this time of great discovery, your children and family will form a faith foundation and grow in relationship with God, all while making friends and sacred connections with one another. We hold Vacation Bible School and Elementary Music Camp each summer, as well as fellowship and service events for children and their families throughout the year. Learn more…

The 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, our Seniors gather in Wesley Center for Lunch with Friends, which features a home cooked, sit down meal. Tables are lovingly set with fresh flowers and each table is surrounded by interesting people ready for a smile and conversation. Join us! Seniors, their family, friends and caregivers are welcome and encouraged to attend.

United Methodist Preschool
The United Methodist Preschool (UMP) serves the preschool age children of our church and community, and celebrates the spirit of childhood in a Christian environment. The nourishing, warm and loving atmosphere at UMP promotes the growth of the whole child, emotionally, socially, intellectually, physically, and spiritually through play and exploration. Stephanie Ham, our Director, Children & Family Ministries, holds chapel time in our Sanctuary each Thursday with the UMP children.
Young Adult Ministries
Our Young Adult Café Theology meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the Month (September-June). Café Theology is an open and honest conversation about things that matter…a table at which all perspectives are welcome. The format is simple: beverage, conversation, and God. Come bring your questions, bring a friend, and pull up a chair. Be ready to engage with people of varying religious traditions, philosophical perspectives and life experiences. You’ll be able to share your own questions and thoughts while learning something new along the way.
We meet at various coffee shops and pubs in the San Ramon/Alamo/Danville area. Text Pastor Luke at 707-294-3461 or shoot him and email at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out where we are meeting this month!
The Youth Program at SRVUMC is a place where young people can explore, question and deepen their relationship with God and each other. It’s a place where they find a place to belong and make deep, long-lasting friendships, and share God’s love for them by serving others. Learn more…
