Paulette has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 20 years with a Child Development Program Director Permit through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing as well as a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She strives to be a resource and support to teachers, parents, and children for providing a learning environment that engages the child’s body, mind, and spirit.

Prior to becoming the Director of United Methodist Preschool at San Ramon Valley UMC, she was a preschool teacher at a Parent-Cooperative Nursery School, College Child Development Laboratory School, and Preschool Science Teacher at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum in Walnut Creek. In addition to teaching young children, she has had a number of interesting experiences working within the field of Early Childhood Education such as the Director in a French Language Immersion Preschool, a Coach for the Contra Costa Child Care Council, a part-time Instructor at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill and at Daley College in Chicago in the Department of Early Childhood Education.
