Christmas Eve ServicesThis year our Christmas Eve Services will be virtual, the Family Service-Christmas Pageant (normally at 5 pm), and the Candle Light Service (normally at 8). You may watch the services anytime during Christmas Eve day or night (yes, really!). Link will be available beginning Christmas Eve.
Trunk or Treat
The tradition will go on and we need you! On in the ARC Parking lot. Join us for a drive through parade where families drive by decorated cars. All with social distancing, masks, and lots of precautions! We need volunteers to decorate their trunks and we will ensure safe distancing and distributing treats and surprises that we will provide. Campus Update
Each week, our Task Force meets to prepare for opening our church campus. Our goal is to do no harm, to adhere to all local and UMC Conference guidelines, and to keep everyone safe. Update on Reopening
We continue to prepare so that we can safely reopen our church campus. We are so looking forward to that gradual process! We are tentatively looking at holding one outdoor service later in July. Those attending will be required to wear masks and social distance. We will continue to live stream services as well. Children’s Ministries will not open at this time. Meals with Grace
Meals with Grace is our own home-grown program created to deliver meals to people both inside and outside of the church to make their COVID-19 crisis just a little bit better. We aim to serve individuals who are isolated and can benefit from a little lift, knowing we are thinking of them during their Shelter-in-Place. The very first Easter didn’t happen at a church. It happened outside an empty tomb, while all the disciples were sequestered at home, grief-stricken and wondering what was going on. In the Gospel of John we read, “Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.” We read those words, and expect Resurrection.
