Campus Update

Each week, our Task Force meets to prepare for opening our church campus. Our goal is to do no harm, to adhere to all local and UMC Conference guidelines, and to keep everyone safe. 
Contra Costa County Health Services (CCHS) has delayed the opening of businesses and activities previously planned for July 1 until the COVID-19 outbreak in Contra Costa is better contained.
Members of the task force are still hard at work. Groups include a group exploring how we will clean the office, restrooms, and meeting areas after each activity. Another group meets to plan how we will re-arrange office work spaces to maintain social distancing. We will have Plexiglas installed, and a check in point for all coming on campus. Our insurance company requires that all coming on campus must sign a waiver, the logistics of that is being explored by another sub-committee.
We are working hard to be ready later this summer to welcome small groups of people back on campus. Our church campus remains closed at least through July.
