On-campus opportunities

Helping Hands
Help in the minor repair and maintenance of our church facilities – replace light bulbs and/or ballasts, dust and keep our Sanctuary organized, annual power washing of courtyard, remove cobwebs from exterior of buildings, to name a few.

Sodbusters
Sodbusters (outside volunteer opportunity) does trimming and pruning and other landscaping tasks to keep our campus beautiful. Contact church office to learn more at (925) 837-5243.  Or email Patsy. 

Worship Assistant/Ushers
Greet attendees at Sunday service.

Memorial Service Receptions
Assist bereaved families in the reception provided after Memorial Service.

Opportunities  in Your Area:

Play with animals at your pet shelterVisit Your Pet Shelter
Adore animals?  Head down to your local pet shelter and spend an hour playing with some cats or dogs in need of a home. 

 

Community GardenCommunity Garden
Like working with your hands?  Grab a pair of gardening gloves and spend an hour of your time sprucing up your local community garden.

Write a thank you note to someone who changed your life.  If you’d like to write a note to someone in the congregation, mail your note to the church and we’ll make sure it gets delivered to the right person.
