The Monument Crisis Center(MCC) is a community-based non-profit family resource center for Central and East Contra Costa County, located in Concord. Although food distribution remains their primary objective (especially during COVID), they also have developed adult education, youth and senior programs to address the various needs of their clients. The Dialogue for Change Committee is supporting “Breathing Free Together,” a Community Art Project for Racial Equity. The deadline to submit art is March 7, at 5 PM. Our own Deborah Robinson will be helping to judge the art which will be displayed at the San Ramon Central Park. The opening ceremony will be on June 19th, which is the holiday commemorating Juneteeth. Here’s additional information and the call for art:
