Mantu Joshi

The Joshi family recently returned to the California-Nevada Annual Conference when Mantu’s spouse, Heidi, took a position as a manager and faculty at the UCSF/John Muir Family Medicine Residency in Walnut Creek. Pastor Mantu last served as Pastor of Congregational Development and Innovation at First UMC in Kalamazoo, Michigan where he was also an instructor at Western Michigan University.  Pastor Mantu is a published author of many articles on parenting kids with special needs and the book, The Resilient Parent. He has appeared numerous times on NPR and other media. He went to Garrett Seminary in the Chicago area where he was awarded the prestigious Jackson Scholarship for preaching. Heidi and Mantu have two girls, and Heidi and Mantu are college sweethearts who met while singing together.

Mantu is pronounced like the first syllable of Monday followed by first syllable of Tuesday: MonTu
