Marilyn Clarke has held the position of Facilities/Purchasing Manager at San Ramon Valley UMC since 2002.
She has assisted , in her capacity as Facilities Manager, in 3 major building projects on campus, as well as building and updating of the church courtyard and memorial garden.
Marilyn’s prior work history includes working in her family business, which dealt, to a great extent, of serving the motion picture industry.
She has a lot of great stories, if you get an opportunity to speak to her about this experience.
She, and her husband, George, moved to the Bay Area from Northridge, Ca., in 1979, so now are longtime residents of Danville.
They are the proud parents of 3 grown children, and 1 grandson.
They have been church members since 1990, and Marilyn has served on various church committees through the years, as well as teaching Disciple class and serving as a Stephen Minister.
