Thomas Food Project – Haiti

Thomas Food Project, HaitiThe Thomas Food Project was the inspiration of SRVUMC-member, Warren McGuffin, after his first visit to the earthquake damaged country. During this visit, he noticed many of the children didn’t have a sustainable food supply and many were so hungry they were eating dirt.  The Thomas Food Project was born in a school located in Thomas, Haiti, and the program has expanded and into six school sites, serving over 500 meals per day.  Read Warren’s update to learn more. Read more about this program
